In a statement shared by the Simpson family, O.J. Simpson has passed away at 76.
This comes after reports began to swirl in February 2024 alleging O.J. Simpson has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is hospice.
According to initial reports by Local 10 News, their sources claimed that O.J. who was last seen walking with the assistance of a cane had been receiving chemotherapy treatments.
However, once the news regarding his health began to spread, O.J. took matters into his own hands, turning to social media to set the record straight.

While he didn’t address the cancer news, O.J., who is now 76, laughed about the claims we was in hospice in a video he shared on X.
“Hospice?! Hospice?! You talking about hospice? No, I’m not in any hospice. I don’t know who put that out there. […] Can’t trust the media.”
O.J. continued, adding that he’s preparing to host a lot of friends for the Super Bowl and that “all is well.”
As TMZ reports, O.J. has seemingly already battled cancer once before. Back in May 2023, the former athlete once talked about having cancer but already enduring treatment.
