Rapper P Diddy arrested and charged 6 months after homes raided by Homeland Security

Sean “P Diddy” Combs has been arrested and charged six months after his home was raided by homeland security. After being arrested on Sept. 16 in New York City, Combs was charged with “sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution by federal authorities.”

In a statement issued by his attorney Marc Agnifilo, the rapper plans to fight the charges against and him and plans to plead not guilty, calling the charges “unjust prosecution.”

“He’s going to fight this with all of his energy and all of his might and the full confidence of his lawyers, and I expect a long battle with a good result for Mr. Combs,” Agnifilo said.

“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community,” Agnifilo continued. “He is an imperfect person but he is not a criminal.”

“To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
