The incident unfolded just as Trump, alongside real estate investor Steve Witkoff, was playing the 5th hole. The attacker, identified as 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, was armed with an AK-47 and had been hiding in the bushes for up to 12 hours before launching his attack​(
